Hi!  I'm Sarah Haberman.  I created Rooted Soccer Academy to bring the joy of soccer to all kids in a fun, healthy, and educational environment.  As a lifelong soccer player and lover of learning, it was through sport that I learned the most important lessons: teamwork, commitment, perseverance, and perspective to name a few.

I was fortunate enough to fall in love with soccer when I was four when I played in my local rec program.  Over the years, that love deepened and it led me to a collegiate playing career at Occidental College.  Once my playing career came to an end, my coaching career began.  I have coached at many levels - from the tiny four year olds to collegiate athletes and everything in between.

I have been a homeschooling mom of two for six years now, so I understand the need for an athletic program that balances the activity, learning, and social needs of the whole child.  Thank you for helping to create a community where our kids can have fun and learn from each other at the same time!
